Neighbourhood Help Program
Dr. Greene has field tested his Neighbourhood Help Program over the past four years helping neighbours as an ombudsman, teaching children and adults to save and invest, giving practical neighbourly help and identifying local heroes. The response has been extremely positive and the result extremely successful.
- Dr. Greene and Bonnie live in Ward 2 and have been residents of Brampton for over 25 years.
- Dr. Greene has served both Wards 2 and 6 as Public School Trustee for 13 years.
- He is a graduate of Queen’s University and holds the Doctor of Education B.Ed. and M.Ed. from the University of Toronto.
- Dr. Greene has had wide experience in Ontario as a teacher of English to new Canadians from many countries, such as Germany, Greece, the Netherlands, Italy, Portugal and the former Yugoslavia.
- Dr. Greene has trained hundreds of elementary and secondary school teachers at Queen’s, University of Toronto, Brock University and OTEC in English, Psychology and Special Education.
- He has served as a director of three corporations, studied law at Osgoode Hall Law School and lectured extensively in Psychology.
